I really enjoyed this different take on a crime/suspense novel. I liked the extra dimension Cass's psychic ability brought to the plot and really liked the character of Cass. Although vulnerable and naive in many respects, she was also a strong and capable woman who put herself in danger to help other people. I thought Cass's mother and grandmother were interesting and humorous secondary characters who rounded out the story very nicely.
All in all this was an entertaining, moderately suspenseful book that kept me turning the pages from beginning to end without being too gruesome or graphic.
